POLICY ON THE USE OF MOTORISED BUGGIES
1. Players who need to use a motorised buggy (hired or personal), in all cases, must inform the Honorary Secretary of ELLGA to ensure permission is obtained from the Executive Committee.
2. A current medical certificate of disability must be presented in order to play with the use of a buggy in the Scratch Shield and Worsley and the Handicap Shield and Annie Chambers competitions.
3. The buggy may only be used by the person named on the certificate and may carry the player, her caddie and equipment.
4. A medical certificate will not be required for the use of buggies in the Seniors and Autumn Team competitions.
5. The onus is on each player to check that the host club permits the use of buggies and, if required, sign a disclaimer.
6. Use of the buggy will be at the player’s own risk.
7. The player will need to have personal insurance cover in place.
